This was the first recordings of Brass Decibel when still called "The Shake Down." Soul the Interrogator had already been signed as a solo artist to Soundmind Artists when Brass Decibel was formed with Soundmind Artists' owner, Nickels Hawkeye. The intent was to be as sample heavy and original boom bap feeling as possible while keeping a morally sound lyrical delivery. Founding themselves as a traditional yet nontraditional musical influence in their city, they continue to make daily strides to bring the ideas they have to the community as a whole.
