This collection of instrumentals assembled by the Seattle Oldominion Producer, Nickels Hawkeye, comes at no better time than this. From the days of his Comunalien group until now, many of these instrumentals have never been heard before now. With more than twenty years of musical composition under his belt, Nickels has held a position of note within the hip hop and downtempo communities. Through his recording studio, performing with various solo and group artists locally and nationally he has gained the experience and seasoned veteran status so many strive for. Take a moment and listen to the feelings behind his work. When asked about the mood of his work, Nickels has often been quoted as stating that it is "dark & brooding."
